What an agent does
Where a chatbot answers, an agent can act in several steps: it makes a plan, carries it out step by step, checks along the way and adjusts. Until the task is done.
- Breaks a task into sub-goals and carries them out in sequence
- Uses your tools and systems (via MCP) to look up, create, update
- Pulls context from your own sources. The same grounding as the chatbot
- Stops and asks when something needs a human decision
Grounded and under control
This is where we differ. The market sells autonomy as if control were a weakness. We do the opposite.
- Within bounds: the agent works only with the data, tools and actions you've approved
- Approval steps: critical actions can require a human OK before they run
- Auditable: every step is logged. You can always see what the agent did and why
- EU-hosted all the way: the agent runs on the same EU-hosted stack as the rest
- On your terms: built for your needs, not a general agent let loose on the internet
